As Millennials, our lives unfold in a context unlike that of any generation before us.

The rules and expectations our parents and teachers prepared us for have shifted. We are charting our own course, and it is both exciting and stressful!

Our generation is the most diverse, most open and most connected generation the world has ever seen. We face incredible challenges like accelerating climate change, widening economic disparity, exposure of environmental and racial injustices, and yet we remain hopeful, engaged and interested in the world that might be possible, in how we can contribute to it.

Many millennials follow a non-traditional path. Instead of one career, we have many. Our passions and our expertise span many realms. Our expectations for relationships, for money, for a home, for success are our own, rather than those that we inherit. We learn so much in this fast-paced world, and yet we often struggle to find our grounding. We accomplish amazing things, and yet often doubt the value of those accomplishments. We are skilled at tapping into our inspiration, and yet we often get discouraged as we compare ourselves to those that 'have it all figured out'.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
— Rainer Maria Rilke

Coaching for Millenials

Fortunately we are discovering the value of coaching right when we need it most. Coaching can unlock our potential to thrive, clear away the uncertainty that sometimes clouds the path, and invigorate us to go for what's really important to us.

Working with a coach, you'll experience being seen for who you really are, especially in those moments of discomfort and uncertainty. You'll master the skill of being the captain of your own ship, tapping into your own wisdom to chart your course. And you might avoid lost sleep over the decisions of 'what to do', and avoid making things harder than they have to be.

Starting a conversation with a coach can seem like a big step, but it just might lead to a breakthrough. Reach out and say hi, and see where this might lead!
